Diabetes Info

In 2014 I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.
I've been very frustrated by my attempts to get information,
first from my primary doctor, then from the diabetes educators
at my medical group, then from a primary care physician
who supposedly specializes in diabetes, and then from a nurse
who also specializes in diabetes.

The first topic that came up that I had to research on my own was
the accuracy of glucose meters.  The next was local support groups. 
None of the supposed professionals listed above were able to give me
any help with either of these topics, nor was the American Diabetes
Association (I tried both the national association and the local office).

It occurred to me that others might find the same info useful, so
I decided to share it.
