The mystery has been
solved! My cousin Jay and Dennis Steele both said it was
above Azusa, but Bud Steele was the only one who came up with
the name: Rainbow Angling Club. When he first told me
the name I looked for it on the internet and found only
references to meetings held there in the 50's and condominiums
with that name in the 60s. I looked again recently and
found lots of pictures from the 1930's, and some details of
the history.
